Information we may receive
The website inquiry form asks for a name, business or company name, email address, mobile number, business type, service needed, and message. The current form does not save this information on the website; after consent, it prepares an email in the user’s own email application. Information is received by KMERG only when the user reviews and sends that email. Hosting and security providers may process technical information reasonably generated by website access, such as device, browser, IP, usage, or security data.
How information may be used
- Respond to inquiries and evaluate requested services.
- Prepare quotations, proposals, and engagement arrangements.
- Provide contracted services and communicate with clients.
- Maintain appropriate business records.
- Protect website security and comply with legal or regulatory obligations.
Data sharing
KMERG does not sell personal information. Information may be processed by service providers where reasonably necessary to host the website, communicate, or provide requested services, subject to appropriate safeguards. It may also be disclosed when required by law, regulation, court order, or lawful government request.
Data security
Reasonable organizational, technical, and administrative safeguards may be used to protect information against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, loss, or misuse. No internet transmission or electronic storage method can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
Data retention
Personal information is retained only as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was received, an applicable engagement, legitimate business requirements, or legal and regulatory retention requirements.
Cookies and similar technologies
KMERG does not currently use advertising or marketing cookies on this website. Essential technologies required by the hosting provider may operate for security and delivery. If non-essential analytics or marketing technologies are introduced, this policy and any required consent controls will be updated.
Third-party services
The website may rely on third-party hosting, email, social media, security, or other technology providers. Links to external services are governed by their respective terms and privacy practices.
Google user data used by KMERG Systems
The KMERG Business Bookkeeping System and KMERG Cooperative Bookkeeping System use Google Apps Script and Google Sheets to provide bookkeeping functions. When a user authorizes a system, it accesses only the Google resources and permissions shown on the Google consent screen and needed to operate the selected bookkeeping file.
- The systems may read and write accounting records, account lists, journals, ledgers, settings, and reports in the user-authorized Google Sheet.
- Accounting records remain in the user’s Google Sheet and are controlled through that file’s Google Drive ownership and sharing permissions.
- KMERG does not sell Google user data or use it for advertising.
- Access is used only to deliver, maintain, secure, and support the requested bookkeeping functionality.
- Users may revoke access through their Google Account permissions and may request assistance or deletion of KMERG-held support information by contacting KMERG.
KMERG’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Data subject rights
Subject to applicable Philippine data privacy laws and regulations, individuals may request access, correction, or exercise other rights regarding their personal information. Requests may be submitted through the contact below.
Changes to this policy
KMERG may update this policy when its services, website functionality, or legal requirements change. The current version will display its last-updated date.
